I think I may have freaked out the girls by pulling out my Christmas dishes, collection of snowmen, and my several nativity scenes.
Initially, Nasreen tried to say that the celebration of Eid is somewhat similar to Christmas, because they will send cards and eat special foods, but .... once she saw the 15 foot inflatable Santa a mile from our house ... she stopped.
I can only imagine how difficult it would be to reconcile the inflatable Santa with your creche scenes!
