Who put the quarter in?

One of our main complaints, if you can call it that, about Nasreen is that she doesn't express herself or talk very much. She will sometimes sit through dinner without saying a single word, and she laughs a lot and quite loudly when she doesn't seem to know how else to express herself. 

But, you should see her light up when she knows Oksana is in trouble.

For instance, tonight Oksana asked if one of the other exchange students could sleep over, and because Oksana asked in front of the other student our policy is to automatically say "no."  Once I said no, Oksana became very sullen and withdrawn.

Nasreen's response to the sullen mood was to become chatty and animated and more talkative than usual which is such a stark contrast with usual ... it probably drives Oksana crazy.
