Unfortunately, a calm family makes for a shortage of amusing stories for one's blog!
Nasreen has started volunteering at the assisted living facility less than a mile from our home, and this weekend she painted nails and just sat and talked for a while. It may have been the first time she encountered a person with severe Alzheimers, asking the same question over and over. I think this is going to be a great volunteer position for her, not too demanding and lots of pleasant people.
This isn't a "yawn" at all. Good for Nasreen! It means a lot to the folks in assisted living to have someone talk & listen.
