We returned yesterday from a high school youth camp at Camp Forest Springs from December 27 to 31, in northern Wisconsin. It was a blast. Audrey's Dad and I volunteered for the week (he dutifully monitored the oft-lonely tubing tow-rope and I worked both on the clean-up crew and answering phones), and the girls participated with 200 other high schoolers.
I am so proud of how the week went. I had a few fears that they would isolate themselves in their cabins, complaining about the cold weather, snow, and strange activities, but was glad to see them taking part in strange new things like tubing, "Razzle-blast", broomball, "Animalball", downhill-skiing, and meeting lots of new people. All three of them had a great time.
