Up and Down

Some days, loving these girls (including the one born to us) is such a joy.  You feel like you are really speaking to their spirit and encouraging them and being a life-changing part of their existence.

Other days, you just want to strangle all of them and have some peace and quiet and not worry about grades and schedules and "whose cup is this abandoned in the living room?"

Lord, help them to realize through it all that they are precious to us and to you, that we want them to have a wonderful and memorable year and to learn things about themselves and You.
