Deep breath ....

Miriam, Parveen, Mei, Audrey, Anna, and Bria

Geocaching!

Well, now both of our girls are here.  After a couple of days of somewhat uncomfortable quiet with Miriam, bubbly Parveen has appeared on the scene and is it seems to be helping Miriam come out of her shell.

Just a couple of observations:

1) since we are watching High School Musical 3 .... teenage girls everywhere LOVE a good romantic story ...

2) Parveen is not as in love with dogs as she wanted to believe she was before she arrived.  She talks sweetly to Piper, but one definitely gets the feeling she is trying not to run away.

3) Miriam has an ability to change her clothes more times in the day than any teenager I have met.  This mostly happens because she gets right into her "jammies" as soon as we walk in the house.  Hilarious.

4) Audrey really is a wonderful host sister.  She truly desires for each of our exchange students to be loved and appreciated. And she gives her heart to them freely.  

I'm feeling very optimistic.  These girls are clearly different from each other, but for now it seems like a good balance!
