Ah ... what if I hadn't seen you drink out of that glass and put it back in the cabinet? How long until I would have "known" to tell you not to? Or return your tasted brownie to the pan....
I hate feeling like I'm watching every move and waiting to pounce with more "rules" ... but I do think it's kinder to help you understand rather than leaving it until later.
And I think it's totally sweet that it took you a whole day to drink through your can of Coke.
For certain these are all things you are doing because the situation is so different and you don't want to offend, which is wonderful.
